Bienvenue to the elegant universe of Ellen, the charismatic frontwoman of Ellen et les Garçons, where music becomes story and style becomes language.
Classically trained as a soprano, Ellen's style is shaped by her background in opera, jazz, and music from around the world. This foundation allows her to blend classical technique with jazz, swing and blues. Her performances are emotionally layered, multilingual, and designed to transport the listener into a different world, where every song tells a story.

Ellen has performed extensively across the UK as part of a close-harmony vintage vocal trio, appearing at themed events and festivals like Goodwood, and enchanting audiences with the nostalgic charm and aesthetics of 1940s and 50s swing.
In 2015, she recorded several songs at the iconic Abbey Road Studios with acclaimed composer Alexander Shulgin, known for his global collaborations.

Ellen’s musical journey began long before she found the words to express it, growing up surrounded by languages, cultures, and stories, music quickly became her way of connecting with the world.

A turning point came during her university years, under the mentorship of a renowned opera singer whose teaching extended far beyond technique. Immersed in a world of elegance, classical beauty, and meaningful artistry, Ellen discovered a deeper purpose in her craft. These formative experiences shaped not only her voice, but her artistic identity - grounded in storytelling, emotion, and a timeless sense of style.

Ellen is currently working on her debut jazz swing album, filled with light-hearted, bubbly swing tunes designed to make you smile, tap your feet, dream and feel the joy of being alive.

She is also developing a brand-new themed set titled "Chá-Chá Charm", a playful journey through the rhythms of Brazil, Cuba, and Spain, mixed into a dreamy vintage cocktail.

I've booked Ellen et les Garçons three times as a duo for our Saturday night jazz evenings, and they have been fantastic every time! Extremely professional and self-contained, they brought their own PA system and set up discreetly, making everything seamless on our end. Their performance was a beautiful mix of well-known jazz standards and classic Italian and French hits from the 1950s. Guests absolutely loved it—many joined in, singing along and adding to the warm, family-like atmosphere. With songs performed in French, Italian, and English, they created a charming international, European vibe that made the evening feel unique and sophisticated. I was thrilled to see Ellen et les Garcons perform live, they performed with great energy and skill showcasing the great chemistry between them and making it a truly memorable experience. The setlist was a perfect mix of timeless classics appealing to both jazz aficionados and newcomers alike. "... Ellen and the band were incredible . They put a lot of thought and care into their performance. ..." Ellen and her band were absolutely incredible at our wedding ceremony! From our first interaction, Ellen was so easy to work with, answering all my (many!) questions with patience and warmth. She was super accommodating when I requested a special cover song that was really special to us. I mentioned to her how amazing it would be if they could play a song in my native language, and she actually offered to learn it! While we ended up sticking with songs in English, the fact that she was willing to go the extra mile shows her work ethic. Not only is Ellen an amazing singer, but she's also incredibly thoughtful and has great ideas. She and the band were incredible and I loved walking down the aisle to their music. It was clear they put a lot of thought and care into their performance. Ellen even wore an outfit that reflected my cultural heritage, which was such a touching gesture. You can tell Ellen is passionate about what she does and truly cares about creating the perfect experience for her clients. She's a true professional and we've already been recommending her to others.
